The Rarus SHC™1020 Car Series is a line of superior performance oils aimed primarily at air compressor lubrication rotary screw very heavy duty and propeller air compressor (vane). This series is particularly suited to very heavy duty where mineral oil-based products do not meet expectations, such as very heavy applications exposed to high final compression temperatures, or which require long oil change intervals. The series is formulated with specially designed wax-free hydrocarbon fluids and high-tech additive systems that guarantee exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation that is far superior to mineral oil-based compressor oils. This oil provides preferential equipment protection and reliability for compressors operating in conditions where mineral oil-based products do not meet expectations. The Rarus 1020 Car Series provides excellent wear protection and preferential resistance to thermal degradation,far superior to mineral oil. Its unique formulation is able to reduce maintenance costs by minimizing problems with equipment as well as deposits and depreciation (carryover). Its high viscosity index guarantees effective lubrication at high temperatures.

Rarus 1020 Car Series lubricants significantly reduce the potential for fire and explosion compared to mineral oil-based products. The lubricant showed practically no precipitate formation and ignition temperature autogenous high thereby improving both performance and security. The exceptional water separation characteristics reduce the clumping problems resulting from the formation of emulsions and filters, reducing the need for frequent maintenance.
