Product Description

Mobilgrease XHP™ 460 is an enduring lithium complex grease intended for a wide range of heavy-duty applications and operating conditions. This grease is designed to outperform conventional products, utilizing proprietary, high-performance lithium complex manufacturing technology. This product is formulated to provide excellent high-temperature performance with excellent adhesion, structural stability, and water contamination resistance. This grease has a high degree of chemical stability and offers excellent protection against rust and corrosion. This grease has a high dropping point and is recommended for operating at a maximum temperature of 140º C (284°F). Mobilgrease XHP 460 greases are formulated with an ISO VG 460 base oil viscosity and are available in NLGI 1 and 2 grades. Mobilgrease XHP 462 Moly contains 3% molybdenum disulfide to provide enhanced EP and AW protection in heavy load and high sliding applications.

Applications

Mobilgrease XHP 460 is used in a wide range of applications, including industrial, automotive, construction, and marine. Mobilgrease XHP 461 and 462 are blue, which facilitates application verification. With a high ISO VG 460 base oil viscosity, this grease is recommended for high-load applications at low to moderate speeds, including most bearing applications in the paper, construction, and mining industries, as well as off-highway vehicles.
